complete

Rather than writing a list of (probably unattainable) New Year's goals, I decided to jump on board with the idea of a "one word resolution." I've picked the word "Complete" to work towards in 2011. For me, complete means finishing projects I start, even when they are hard. It means completing the things I've set aside or neglected and following through on things I've committed to or promised. "Complete" gives me the opportunity to pick up old goals and make them new and to continue working to completion on the things I hoped to achieve last year (losing 20lbs... ARGH!) Complete also challenges me to spend more time on myself - helping myself grow into a more well-rounded, more relaxed, more whole person. Sometimes I take care of everything yet neglect myself. And sometimes I lose sight of myself. Complete challenges me to stay true to who I am meant to be - and to chase a feeling of wholeness - in body, spirit and mind.

What's your one-word-resolution for 2011?
